Fostoria Bell Foot Compote in American pattern. Made in Fostoria, Ohio. Beautiful 'ring' to the glass. Glass is clear with no cracks. Produced 3 years, from 1979 to 1982. Fostoria glass has three lines for mold (see picture). I have been unable to find any other Fostoria compote with this size diameter base. 8" in diameter across the top; 6 1/2 inches tall; base is 4 1/2" inches in diameter. I do not have an exact number for the piece of Fostoria but the bell foot is unique and hard to find. This would make an outstanding item for your collection or to mix with other glassware.
