Here is a nice example of industrial designer George Sakier's work for Fostoria. It is an art deco -modernistic vase or bowl in the Lotus pattern. It is 4 3/8" high and 6 3/4" wide. It is actually lighter than these photos show.
This is a wonderful and RARE Apricot Luster handkerchief box from Fostoria in the American pattern. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratching or cloudiness. There is a small white spot on the inside bottom edge that can be seen in the photograph. It is not in the glass itself. I soaked it overnight and some came off. I do not want to damage this and will leave it up to the buyer. There is a smooth roughness on the edge of the inside box lid from a mold mark (last picture). It is 5 5/8 inches across the top and about 2 inches high. Unusual find! Please a

In excellent condition with no use marks, staining or damage noted. NOTE: the cover does have a small flaw on one end. See photos, both top view and bottom view. eBay Signature Shipping With Insurance by USPS Priority Mail. Own a piece of "American Glass History". Up for auction is 1 ABSOLUTELY STUNNING EXTREMELY RARE VINTAGE FOSTORIA 9 1/4 INCH HAND MOLD-BLOWN CRYSTAL WATER BOTTLE IN ABSOLUTELY PERFECT CONDITION. Fostoria made this piece from 1916 to 1927, making it between 96 and 107 years old. The last photograph is a copy from one of Fostoria's very early catalogues showing the only water bottle that they ever made. It's actually incredible that this water bottle actually survived in such perfect condition without even any stains inside for all of this time. Even the top opening is perfect without any chips or cracks or scratches, and not a single cube is chipped anywhere on the water bottle. This crystal glass water bottle comes from a bye-gone era when American manufacturing was an "art", as can be seen from the gorgeously designed Fostoria American Pattern # 2056, as can be seen in the photographs. There was never any stopper ever made to fit this water bottle either, as can be evidenced from its original catalogue photograph. It is absolutely gorgeous, and probably took many people to create this glass, from mixing and heating up the sand ingredients to the proper temperature, to hand blowing it into the 3-part mold, and then hand adding the bottom (you can still see and feel the pontil mark on its bottom where the original glass was attached to the glass blower's metal rod), and then finally fire polishing it for it gorgeous shine that one can still see today. I only wish I had more because it is so beautiful. It actually measures 9 1/4"high, is 6" at its widest, and has a top 'inside' opening of 2 1/8 inches wide and a top 'outside' opening of 2 5/8 inches wide, and holds 44 Ounces of liquid, as can see in the photographs. It was purchased from a very old estate sale on Long Island. I found it sitting on a shelf inside a closed dining room cabinet where it seemed to have sat there for many years. It probably was hardly used, because there are only scratches on the bottom where they would be expected that is commensurate with its age, as can be seen in the photographs. I have been collecting unusual vintage objects for many years, and always try to describe the items as best as I can. I don't see any chips, fleabites, cracks, scratches, stains, cloudiness, or repairs anywhere on the bowl except for the bottom scratches already mentioned above. It comes from a smoke-free home. I only accept PayPal, and never charge extra for packaging and handling. Shipping and Insurance by USPS Rate Signature Priority Mail costs $18.85 (it's very heavy and must be packed extremely well). Payment is expected within 3 days, after which I will immediately ship out the Fostoria American Water Bottle as soon as payment is verified by eBay. Buyer may be subject to sales tax which is collected by eBay, and not given to me at all. If payment is not received within 5 days, the Fostoria American Water Bottle will be relisted. Returns will be arranged only if I have shipped the wrong item, or if I have misrepresented the item or its condition. If you need more pictures or further details, please feel free to contact me. You must be happy with you purchase. Please ask all questions, and contact me with any issues before bidding, because your bid is a contract. Please know that we can work together. I really would like a 5-star feedback from you. Thanks for looking at my auction, and "good luck". (Condition: Pre-Owned)
On offer is a very rare set of Ben Seibel-designed glassware, nine tumblers in all. The pattern is called Module, and it was made by Fostoria for a few short years in the early 70s. Each glass measures 6 3/8" tall. They are fairly heavy, the bases being very thick, so don't be surprised if the postage cost seems high. They are in excellent condition. One has a tiny harmless nick to the rim, but otherwise I see no damage to the set. A special find for fans of Ben Seibel. One of two groups of this pattern I am listing.

Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely Fostoria QUEEN ANNE or COLONY pattern glass fruit bowl or compote in rich green colored glass. This pattern was introduced by Fostoria in 1925 and was discontinued in 1929. The pattern was reintroduced in 1935 as the COLONY pattern. The glass is a thick, heavy glass blank and features a twisted swirl design on both the bowl and pedestal base. This pattern is considered to be in the elegant glassware category and the colored pieces were made for only three years from 1926-1929 and is therefore much harder to find than clear glass pieces. Measures 5 3/4" high with a 10 1/2" diameter top and a 5 1/4" diameter base. Weighs almost 4 pounds. This nice compote is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. Please note that we have a pair of matching candlesticks (shown in our last photo) being sold separately. Please check out our eBay Store for these and our other great items. We at Antiques & Moore have been in the Antiques business for over 30 years and try to describe our items as accurately as possible. Although all sales are considered final, if there is an error in our description or a problem with our item, we will issue a full refund of the purchase price if contacted within 3 days after receipt of the item, however, please note that we cannot refund shipping charges. We are happy to answer any questions and always appreciate your business!
